The gaskets on these ports are not "O" rings. The manufacturer offers these ports in many different sizes. Sales of each size do not support the cost of tooling for molds to create unique "O" rings for each size port. Instead they use an extruded gasket that is cut to length to fit each size port. The gasket is fitted end-to-end but not glued together so as to preserve the compliant nature of the gasket where the ends meet.
