Measures 1-5/8" wide x 6' long.
Used on the Catalina 22 beginning in late 1985. All but the very earliest Catalina 27s and all other California built Catalinas used this wide rubrail. The Capri 22, Capri 25 and Capri 26 used it as well.
1) In 2000, one of Catalina's vendors for the Florida factory changed the profile of the aluminum rubrail without telling Catalina. As a result, some, but not all of the boats built in Florida from 2000 through 2004 had a slightly different aluminum rubrail.
This does not effect the Catalina 22, Capri 18, Capri 22, Catalina 25, Catalina 250, Catalina 27, Catalina 270, Catalina 28, Catalina 30, Catalina 320, Catalina 34, Catalina 36, and Catalina 42, none of which were built in Florida during that time period.
Use of the non standard rubrail may have occurred on the Catalina 310, Catalina 350, Catalina 380, Catalina 387, and Catalina 390.
