Hand swage tool for Nicopress® fittings. Coated steel for corrosion resistance, grade "8" bolts for strength and durability, and pre-lubed for ease of use.
This tool will install Nicopress® fittings and develop their full strength, just like expensive professional tools. The only difference is the speed of the process. Professional tools speed the process for production fabrication. But for an occasional crimp the slower compression by way of the tightening of two bolts adjacent to the crimp is just fine.
Suitable for use in the fabrication of a wire halyard or perhaps a pennant for the head or tack of a heads'l.
Used for wire size:
• 1/8"
• 5/32"
• 3/16"
• 1/4"
• Not suitable for use in fabrication of standing rigging.
• It is the incorrect size and is therefore not suitable for use in the fabrication of lifelines.
