How do I stop my C27 head filling with water when sailing? Have just aquired boat. I have orignal head with a holding tank arrangt (& SHURflo 3200 macerator pump). Normally close the flush/pump-in toggle when sailing, and also closed thro' hull valves? Any thoughts/ideas gratefully received.

If you've closed the through hulls and the head is still filling with water, then you've probably got a leaking through hull valve. I assume it is not backing up from the holding tank? If it's obvious backup from the holding tank, then I'd check the holding tank vent line.

Do you have a shower sump in the head? If so, it could be full and it comes up through the floor drain when you heel.
