Hi All - I'm looking to install a speed and depth gauge on my Catalina 22. I'm looking at the Raymarine i40 on West Marine, but one reviewer said the transducer is only good for a hull thickness up to 3/4". Does anyone know what the hull thickness is for the Catalina 22 or has anyone successfully installed this particular bidata instrument on their boat?
Thanks in advance for your help! |

Hello Andrea.
I have a C-27, and I installed an in-hull transducer (made by Airmar, for a Garmin depth sounder) and have had no trouble with it at all. I suspect the Raymarine transducer would work quite well too. Happy sailing! |
