I'm setting up a spinnaker pole for a for my C-22. How long should the bridles be? (8 foot pole)

Something in the neighborhood of 9 -10' should do it. Mine is about 1' off the pole mid-span. I don't think it's a critical measurement. The pole, however should be no longer than 8' including the end fittings to be class legal should you want to race [and why wouldn't you?? It's fun! :-) ]
