I enjoy taking friends out, but as you all know, Catalina 22's are great for single-handing. But leaving the tiller to go forward to take down the mainsail is not only tricky, but also a bit dangerous.

Any ideas out there on how to rig a Downhaul system for the main that won't damage the sail/sail hardware?
