New to forum - found while googling info on C22's.
I am cosidering a C22 and was wondering what were the differences in the years. I see there were some changes for the 1986+ models. What were they?
Also, where can I go to find, "What to look for when purchasing a C22?"

Significant differences of the 1986-1994 model vs Pre-1986.
1. Tinted / black windows
2. New cabin trunk - higher, longer
3. Wing keel available as an option
4. Mast shorter by 3" due to higher cabin trunk
5. Probably heavier in weight
6. Galley area moved forward
7. Gas tank area closed off from cabin inside
8. Includes cooler
9. Forward hatch moved to forward edge of cabin trunk, and off of foredeck
10. Anchor locker on foredeck
There were approximately 2000 of the "New Design" boats built from 1986 through 1994. In 1995, the MKII was introduced.
MKII features:
1. No Teak
2. 8" wider
3. New Sliding Main Hatch
4. Elimination of dinette, has 2 berths in main cabin
5. Smaller table
6. Galley moved to under cockpit seat
7. More room below than any other Catalina 22
8. More moder look
The MKII is still in production. Approximately 250 have been built since 1995.
