Thermostat Universal Diesel Late "B" Series

This 44mm diameter thermostat is used only on later model (after 03/98) "B" series Universal Diesel engines. The factory part number for the gasket is 298843 and for the thermostat it is 201001. The thermostat opens at 160 degrees.
As the design details sometimes change, decide if this is the correct thermostat by measuring the outside diameter of the flange rather than by trying to match the appearance.

• The outside of the flange has a diameter of 44mm (about 1-3/4")

• M-25XPB (C-28, C-30) after 3/1998
