Snap ring for the Oberdorfer or Sherwood water pump.
Rather than replacing the snap ring every time you replace the impeller, use snap ring pliers to remove your old snap ring. You will avoid damaging the snap ring and may eliminate the need to replace it at every impeller replacement. Always keep a spare aboard though just in case of loss or failure. See the snap ring pliers below under "May we also suggest".
