Propeller shaft nut zinc for boats with a 1" diameter shaft and a fiberglass skeg molded as an integral part of the hull as opposed to separate bronze strut. The skeg design does not allow use of a more traditional clamp-on shaft zinc.
Known usage:
• Catalina 28 hull #725 and later (excluding hull #727)
• Catalina 309
• Catalina 350
• Catalina 355
For use in salt water
• Thread: 3/4" -10 (this is the thread machined onto the aft end of a 1" diameter prop shaft)
This zinc nut can be used on any 1" diameter shaft, but may require an additional hole be drilled in the shaft to pin the nut.
