Since only a handful of new goosenecks are sold each year, there is no logical way to have a custom fastener fabricated for them. However, by simply purchasing a longer bolt, the shoulder of the bolt falls to the wear point rather than the threads. Yes, the extra thread hanging below the gooseneck in not tidy, but the bolt can be trimmed with a Dremel tool or good quality hacksaw blade.
