Engine fresh water coolant pump assembly for the Universal M-12, M2-12, M3-20, 3/8.
Numbers correspond to those in the exploded view of the fresh water cooling system. The following components are included.
• #2 Water pump flange
• #3 Bearing
• #4 Pump housing
• #5 Seal assembly, mechanical
• #6 Impeller
• #7 Return pipe
• #8 Gasket
OEM Equipment for the following engine models (and the boats that we are aware used these engines... There could be other combinations as well):
• M-12 (Capri 25, Catalina 25)
• M2-12 (Capri 26, Catalina 25 )
• M3-20 (Catalina 25, Catalina 27, Catalina 28, Catalina 30 )
• Impeller depth beyond mounting surface: 3/8" (See Warnings & Notes 1)
• Flange, item #2 diameter: 2.170"
• Flange fasteners, centerline diameter: 1.640"
• Impeller, item #6, diameter, outside: diameter: 1.965"
• Barb, part of pump housing, input, large: 0.890" for 7/8" id hose
• Barb, item #7, output, small: 0.454" for 3/8" id hose
• Extension of impeller beyond mounting surface: 3/8"
1) There are two different pumps that were used on these engines. You must measure your old pump carefully to determine which is the correct pump to order. This pump has a 3/8" impeller extension. If your version extends 1/2" beyond the mounting surface, give our tech support line a call for more information.
2) There will be a 50% non-refundable deposit charged to your card upon placing an order for this item. The balance will be charged when the item ships to you.
3) When you order a special order item it sets off a chain of events like Willie Wonka in the chocolate factory. Once you turn the valve the chocolate is coming down the pipe. If you then decide you want caramel, the chocolate is still going to come out of the pipe. We can't put the Chocolate back in the pipe, so someone is going to have to eat it, and it's not going to be us! Your order can't be canceled, returned, or magically changed into caramel, so please order carefully the first time!
