Our StarBoard Marine plastic handrails are an easy addition that reduces the routine maintenance needed to keep your boat ship-shape. A simple washing as you swab down the deck is the only maintenance required.
A direct replacement for your original equipment teak handrails, the center to center dimensions of the mounting pads are identical to the teak. The same patterns used to make the teak handrails are used to make our StarBoard handrails. Just unfasten the teak and fasten the StarBoard handrail in its place.
Sold per pair
Our StarBoard Marine handrails are made of high density polyethylene. It has an additive mixed in to protect it from the effects of ultra violet light. Approximately 73" long.
This size handrail was used on early Catalina 25's through hull number 5802 in June of 1988. Later Catalina 27's also used seven loop handrails. We believe the Catalina 27 changed from five to seven loop with hull number 5536 in 1984. This is the same time Catalina changed the deck and introduced smoked plex windows. Unfortunately, there is no mention of the handrail change in Catalina's records, so this is only an educated guess.
They may be used on any boat where they are a suitable length.
Supplied undrilled so you can match the holes in your deck.
