When used as a replacement for the deck light bulb in our #Z2283 light fixture, be sure that you install this bulb above the hinged horizontal black plastic retaining panel of the fixture. When the bulb is fully seated, hinge the black panel closed and ensure that it it snaps fully shut. It is the plastic retaining panel that holds the bulb into the socket.

Loss of the bulb due to improper installation or a missing retaining panel is not covered under warranty.
