Propeller shaft nut zinc for boats with a 1-1/4" diameter shaft. Boats with traditional bronze struts may use this zinc or the more familiar zinc collar pictured below under "May we also suggest". If the shaft in your boat is equipped with a cutlass bearing mounted directly into a fiberglass skeg molded in as an integral part of the hull, then this type of aft mounted zinc is a requirement.
The skeg design does not allow use of a more traditional clamp-on shaft collar zinc.
Nut style design allows for use on boats that do not have a traditional strut with room forward for mounting a donut style zinc.

• Thread: 7/8"-9 (this is the thread machined onto the aft end of a 1-1/4" diameter prop shaft)
This zinc nut can be used on any 1-1/4" diameter shaft, but may require that an additional hole be drilled in the shaft to pin the nut.
