We suggest you upgrade to #D1245 below which is equipped with 1/2" pintles and will accommodate the new, stronger gudgeons.

You may also want to consider replacing your rudder with a new all plastic rudder. It is less expensive, has a true airfoil shape for better handling, and has no foam core to absorb water like the original equipment rudders. See "May we also suggest" below.
